Although the footprint of this house remained the same, the renovation included adding a new second floor bedroom, bathroom, storage room, and game room. In order to add these new areas, TotalCare enhanced the footers around the entire left side of the house to support the second story. They also had to remove existing roof trusses in these areas, which exposed the entire left side and other portions of the house to the outside, until they were able to set new floor joists and re-enclose the ceiling.
TotalCare installed a custom vanity in the new bathroom, as well as a custom built-in and island in the game room. New wood floors were installed to match the existing wood throughout the second floor. A beer tap and beverage center was installed in the built-in bar. Some detailed features were included in the renovation such as shiplap in the game room, base and crown throughout the rooms, granite counter tops, and wallpaper in the bathroom.
