This Winter Park renovation featured a small addition to the home’s footprint as well as significant updates to interior spaces.  Expanding and enhancing the kitchen and dining space were top priorities for the owners, who are both chefs.

Central to the project was the addition of a large, walk-in pantry with built-ins and windows.  Because this area expanded the footprint of the house, TotalCare paid careful attention to matching the new brick, shutters, windows, and landscaping with the existing exterior of the home.

On the interior, TotalCare knocked out a wall to open up the kitchen to the dining room.  Existing hardwood floors were sanded and stained to blend perfectly with new sections of the floor.  In the kitchen, new countertops and backsplashes were installed while all cabinets were repainted and dressed with new hardware.  The new pantry features a wet bar, custom cabinets, and beautiful floating shelves with recessed LED strips to provide plenty of light.

Interior work continued throughout much of the living space with lots of cosmetic updates including updated wainscoting in the living room, a new window in the dining room, custom mill work, and fresh paint and wallpaper throughout.

The renovation also featured a new summer kitchen with a large built-in grill, a new tongue-and-groove ceiling, and new electrical fixtures.
