Having been in the construction industry for over 20 years as a principal with Country Club Homes, Carolyn Wheeler recognized a need for a reliable business that helped people manage all the issues and maintenance needs that arise with their homes and properties throughout the year. Prior clients were always turning to them for advice. Hence, in 2007, TotalCare of Wilton was started and has maintained a high standard of quality, integrity and unsurpassed commitment to customer service.
Unlike most home maintenance companies, TotalCare is in the enviable position to be able to utilize their years of construction & renovation experience and a solid network of reliable contractors to provide quality home and property management services to residential clients.
The TotalCare Management Team
In 2014, Carolyn retired from Country Club Homes, one of the area’s leading custom home builders, a family business since the 1950s. Since then, she has taken a more active role of managing TotalCare, spearheading the company on strategy, marketing and internal operations to assure that TotalCare’s clients get the best possible service experience. Her attention to detail helps set TotalCare apart from the competition.
Outside of TotalCare, Carolyn dedicates herself to the numerous causes about which she is passionate. She is very active in the community with a particular interest in helping people change their lives for the better and giving them opportunities that they might not otherwise have. The first 10 years of her career were in finance in New York City, after earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Colgate University. She and her husband, Greg, raised two children in Wilton and have lived in Fairfield County for over 30 years.
SVP, Client Management
A Fairfield County native, Lisa’s career started in client services and marketing in the financial services industry, first with Bankers Trust Company, then Institutional Investor, implementing credit analysis programs for banks worldwide and debuting home banking platforms for fortune 500 companies. Taking with her the experience in project and account management, Lisa joined TotalCare in 2013 to lead the client services group and enjoys building relationships with TotalCare clients. She also “manages” her family of 5 in her spare time, which includes skiing, traveling and a lot of lacrosse!
VP, Internal Operations
Virginia (Ginny) Bloomquist is involved in all aspects of our business; client service, operations and subcontractor management. Ginny is a former business owner with an expertise in project management. She is an avid gardener and enjoys skiing and golf. Ginny is currently charged with continuously improving organizational practices at TotalCare to bring the best possible experience to our clients.
Walter Cromwell, President of Country Club Homes, is an industry leader in design and innovation in the home building industry. He joined the family business in 1989, after getting his Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture at Syracuse University. Walter serves in an advisory capacity to TotalCare helping solve the myriad of issues that crop up in home and property ownership. All renovations needs, no matter how large or small, can be professionally handled between CCH and TotalCare. The joining together of resources at Country Club Homes and TotalCare keeps us in the forefront of industry trends and advancements, greatly assisting our clients in both problem solving and effectively managing their homes.
